BET Awards!!

There was another successful BET awards this week. With a lot of performances from artist such as Gucci Mane, Soulja boy, Ludacris and Goodie Mob just to name a few. Like every year at the BET awards there were a few Cyphers ( Freestyle rapping). The best of the night was from Eminem, Mos Def, Black Thought, and DJ Premier. Here is a clip from the action.

Alicia Keys was out of the spotlight for a couple of years now, but now she is coming back stronger then ever before. "The Element of Freedom" is set to hit stores on Dec. 1st, this we be Alicia Keys fouth album, and is said to maybe be the best yet. Here is a video for her first single "Doesn't Mean Anything"

I Need a Vacation!!!!

It has been a long half of a semester, it is time for a little break. Today is the last day of classes before the fall break, and am excited. Successful!

I faced a major speed bump when it came time for me to present my PowerPoint presentation. I came across some unknown formatting problem, so when I tried to start the presentation the program would just shut down on me. After a full week of trying to figure out the problem, Monica finally figured it out for me, and I got a chance to present. It was a completely successful presentation, and I think the class enjoyed it as well. I have finally finished my PowerPoint, and will most likely be presenting it today. It was a long road, but I got it done. I think it is a pretty good one. I am just happy that I got it done. Making a Hip- Hop PowerPoint!

Making my PowerPoint for my website topic has been a lot harder then I thought it was going to be. Having to find the information needed to make the appreciate presentation has been a big challenge for me. I think I will have to dig a little deeper into the hip-hop world in order to gain a better perspective of what direction I will be going in to complete my PowerPoint. Even if this is a small challenge for me, I will finish strong, keep your eyes open for a great presentation. Jay-Z will be releasing his new album the Blue Print 3 on September 11, 2009. It has been eight years since he released the first Blue Print album. This is said to be the best yet. Here is his newly released single "Run this Town".

The Black Eyed Peas are sitting on top of the billboards top 100, with there song "I Gotta Feeling". This is a very popular song, because it gets the people ready to have fun, with high exceptions of having a good night. The Black Eyed Peas are famous for having a song that really gets the mood set for a great time, this is just another one for the record books. Enjoy!!

Music is everywhere in our everyday life. Without it our world would be a silent place. Music has the power to bring us any emotion; it can make us happy, sad, our even a little of both. I will take today's billboard top 100, and create a 25 page website dedicated just to music.
